Now Streaming: Polite Corruption in Massachusetts: Who's Funding Question 8? | Nick Lazzaro

Nick Lazzaro, the Democratic candidate for state representative in Massachusetts' 7th Worcester District, on what he calls "polite corruption" at the State House, who is funding Question 8, and why this November's ballot has so many questions.

Nick and Jason talk about following the money on Question 8, the ballot question to repeal legal adult-use cannabis in Massachusetts, and what it would mean for small businesses and jobs in the district. They get into the 2024 state audit question, public records, Question 1, and why Nick says the legislature's "lack of action and leadership" is the reason voters face nine ballot questions this year. Plus: why cannabis banking is "asinine," the internal-franchise model behind his detailing business, and why he says he has no aspirations to become a career politician.
